What are the benefits of mail distribution?
Mail distribution is particularly useful for companies where not all employees should have access to all documents. It ensures that mail is forwarded to the right people or groups, even if all physical mail is redirected to the account.
With mail distribution, you can forward company mail digitally to different distribution groups or individuals. This feature is only available in business accounts with the appropriate subscription.
Advantages of mail distribution:
- Documents are only distributed to those who need to process them.
- Without mail distribution, everyone with access to the account also has access to all documents.
- With mail distribution, authorization groups can be set up so that access is controlled in a targeted manner.
How it works:
- When a document is uploaded directly to the PEAX platform, it is automatically assigned to the person who uploaded it.
- In the “Distribute” tab, you can assign the documents to the appropriate groups or individuals.
- In the “Assign” tab, the documents are finally assigned to the groups or individuals and end up in their digital mailboxes.
- Employees have the option to reject documents if they have been distributed incorrectly.
