How long are originals kept?

All original documents captured in the PEAX scanning process are physically stored for 30 days. During this period, you have the option of ordering a document as an original.

After these 30 days have expired, the physical documents are destroyed in a professional manner and in compliance with data protection regulations. It is then no longer possible to order the original.

The 30-day period begins upon receipt at the scanning center.
