How does the scanning process work?

Mail is forwarded to the scanning centre, where the documents are identified, automatically scanned in – in full compliance with data protection regulations – and uploaded to the PEAX portal. The original documents are stored for 30 days. Within this period, you can order the original document. After 30 days, documents will be properly disposed of.
