Who needs identity verification?

Identity verification ensures that you are uniquely identified as the person performing certain functions in PEAX. It is therefore not mandatory for all users. Whether you need to complete identity verification depends on the type of account you have, the function you wish to use, and the permissions you have for that function.

For example, you can create a Business Account without having already completed identity verification. However, for certain functions—and especially for activating mail forwarding - your identity must be verified.

Identity verification is mandatory if you:

- want to activate mail forwarding
- want to activate mail forwarding in a Business Account as a person with sole signing authority
- want to activate mail forwarding in a Business Account jointly with another person with collective signing authority. In this case, both individuals must be verified.

To activate mail forwarding, you also need the appropriate administrator rights.
