What should be considered when redirecting mail?
In order for mail forwarding to be activated, certain requirements must be met. These ensure that your mail can be processed correctly and forwarded reliably to the PEAX Scanning Center.
In order for mail forwarding to be activated, certain requirements must be met:
✅ Your PEAX account must be active.
✅ Your business account must be fully verified.
✅ The address in your account must be correct.
✅ The mailbox must be labeled with the correct company name.
You can activate mail forwarding directly in the PEAX portal. No additional forwarding with Swiss Post is required.
Important: Please ensure that no existing mail forwarding is active at the post office. If forwarding is already set up, mail cannot be forwarded correctly to PEAX and activation may not work.
Even if you receive your mail digitally, your mailbox must still be labeled correctly. This is a requirement of the postal service. Checks are carried out occasionally. If the mailbox is not labeled correctly, mail forwarding may be temporarily suspended.
Please also note that your mailbox must still be maintained. In the following cases, mail will continue to be delivered physically to your address:
- if you order original documents
- for items that cannot be scanned (ID cards, credit cards, public transport passes, etc.)
These items will be delivered directly to your physical address and will not be digitized.
