What should I do if I already have mail forwarding set up with the post office?

If you have already activated mail forwarding directly with Swiss Post, you need to follow a few steps to ensure that your mail is reliably forwarded via PEAX.

You can activate mail forwarding in the PEAX portal. Please note, however, that Swiss Post does not automatically transfer existing forwarding addresses. To ensure that PEAX mail forwarding works correctly, you must deactivate existing forwarding addresses directly with Swiss Post.

Activate mail forwarding in the PEAX portal:
Go to Profile > Mail Forwarding and activate forwarding. PEAX will then activate mail forwarding and automatically deactivate your previous forwarding with Swiss Post.

Other people in the household:
If other people were previously included in your mail forwarding, it must be deactivated for these people. Each additional person needs their own PEAX account.

Correct address details:
Ensure that the address is correctly stored in the PEAX account so that the forwarding works smoothly.

Mail forwarding is personal:
Forwarding can only be activated for the person (applies to private accounts) to whom the PEAX account is registered.
