How do I set up two-factor authentication (2FA)?

Two-factor authentication (2FA) is an additional security feature that is used when logging into your PEAX account. In addition to your email address and password (first factor), you must enter a second code that confirms your identity.

You can choose from the following methods:

SMS Code: You will receive the code via text message on your cell phone. Only a Swiss cell phone number can be used. Please note that the SMS service has limited availability abroad. If you are outside of Switzerland, we recommend using the Authenticator app.

Authenticator App: An app like Google Authenticator generates time-limited access codes. To use an authenticator app, download the app to your smartphone and scan the QR code provided by PEAX during setup.
