      What is two-factor authentication?

      Two-factor authentication is a second factor that must be entered when logging into your PEAX account (1st factor: e-mail + password / 2nd factor: 2-factor authentication code). This increases the security of your PEAX account. 

      To increase your ID level, you need two-factor authentication. You have two options:

      • SMS code
      • Authenticator app
      You can use any authenticator app. We recommend the Google Authenticator app. This app briefly generates valid access codes that fulfill the role of the second "factor". To set it up, you can download the app and then scan the QR code generated by PEAX.
