What happens to items that cannot be scanned?

If you have activated PEAX mail forwarding, all items will be digitally recorded. However, some documents and items cannot be processed digitally. These include credit cards, debit cards, driver's licenses, public transport passes, and voting materials.

How these items are handled:

- They are scanned but automatically forwarded to your home or business address, as they must be delivered to the recipient in physical form.

- PEAX covers the postage costs for this automatic physical forwarding.

- In the document history, you will see a note that the original has been automatically forwarded.

Important notes:

- Only items that cannot be processed digitally due to their nature are subject to this automatic forwarding.

- Magazines, journals, or other standard mail are not subject to automatic forwarding.

- Physical delivery is usually made by A-mail within 1-2 business days.
